Meet the Staff
Carole Huntsman
Office Manager
Carole joined Eastside Chiropractic in August of 2020. She was born in Quebec, Canada and grew up in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. She attended the Fashion Institute of Technology in Manhattan and graduated with a BS in Marketing & Communications.
After graduation, Carole spent several years working for both manufacturer showrooms and retail buying offices in New York City. However, the last 25+ years she has worked in office administration and management roles, most of which have been for healthcare related practices and companies.
Laura Lipscomb
Patient Care Coordinator
Laura joined Eastside Chiropractic in March of 2022. She is a Georgia native. Laura spent eight years in Florida as a Licensed Massage Therapist. She moved back to Athens in 2017 and worked as a patient care coordinator for a local practice.
In her free time, Laura enjoys spending time with family and friends. She is an avid reader and history is her favorite topic.
Adam, LMT
Licensed Massage Therapist
Adam joined Eastside Chiropractic in the Fall of 2023. He was born in Athens, Georgia and was raised in Social Circle, Georgia.
From 2015 - 2019, Adam served in the United States Navy. He then attended college at Ivy Tech Community College in Lafayette, Indiana where he studied for his Cisco Certified Network Associate Certification.
When COVID hit, Adam went to Afghanistan to support the relief effort for American contractors and native interpreters working for the United States. This is where Adam discovered his love for Kinesiology and Massage Therapy as the Afghans would treat his back pain with massage. Upon returning to the States, Adam enrolled in the Georgia Massage School and graduated in 2022 as a Licensed Massage Therapist.
After obtaining his massage certification, he went to work for Jeju Sauna and Wellbeing in Gwinnett, Georgia as well as other chiropractors in Athens. He specializes in Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue, Shiatsu, Sports Massage, Cupping, and Reflexology.
Lucy
Office Mascot and Hospitality
Lucy is a Golden Retriever/American Akita mix. Her focus in the office is to make patients smile with her limitless cuteness and charm. In her spare time, Lucy likes to play, sleep, eat, and earn delicious treats by being amazing.
